Nutrition is at the core of health and happiness and an integral part of everyday life. We make thousands of decisions about food each day. We are constantly bombarded with media, social, and advertisement claims that aim to influence our food choices. It’s difficult to sort through all that information to find what’s actually true. However, when taken back to the basics, nutrition is not complex! It’s simple and should be something to enjoy each and every day. Re-learning how to eat simply and choose foods to nourish our bodies is my goal with nutrition. Eating well is important for ideal health and to support the demands of training, racing, and recovering from endurance sports.

On the other end of the spectrum, fueling during endurance activities is equally important for optimal performance. My dissertation study focused on the role of exercise and appetite to develop ideal fueling recommendations for active individuals. I am very passionate about nutrition & exercise and love to help athletes dial in their nutrition and fueling plans, both on a day-to-day basis and before, during, and after exercise. I have experience working with many different athletes as well as my own personal experience racing in fueling in races from half-marathon up to 100+ mile races. Hot and cold. High altitude and sea level. Winter and summer. I’ve done it all and love to use my personal experience along with my professional background in nutrition to help you reach your goals.
